Follow the instructions on this page to update the BestRx Fax Program.
Perform these steps on each computer that has BestRx installed on it.
- Click here to download the updated fax program.
- When the File Download box appears, choose either Run or Open.
- When the WinZip Self Extractor appears, click Unzip. When the files
finish unzipping, click OK and Close.
- After unzipping the files, go to your Desktop (icon screen) and double-click the
My Computer icon.
- Double-click on the C: drive (most likely it will say Local Disk
(C:)).
- Locate the BESTRX folder and double-click it.
- Locate the FaxRepair folder and double-click it.
- Locate the _INSTALL folder and double-click it.
- Locate the icon called Install and double-click it.
- The BestRx Installation Manager will start running. Locate the section for
Electronic Fax Program and select Remove and click Next. If the program does not allow you to choose Remove, skip ahead to step #12.
- After the fax program is removed from the computer (about 1 minute), click
Finish.
- Locate the section for Electronic Fax Program and select Install and click
Next.
- After the fax program is installed, click Finish and then click Close. The fax program should work properly now.
